All of us, believers and non-believers living on earth, must remember. The time will come when we will have to leave this earthly world and pass into the reality of the Divine world.

Some will inherit eternal life in God, others - unrepentant sinners - will inherit eternal hellish torment. And I would like to ask about this: Father, what do we know about the spiritual world?

Christ is Risen, dear brothers and sisters!

We can only know what the Lord revealed to us and the holy fathers from personal experience. When Christ was resurrected, he appeared to the disciples behind closed doors and said: “Peace be with you,” breathed on them and said: “Receive the Holy Spirit. To whom you forgive sins on earth, that will be forgiven in heaven. Whoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven.” At that time, the Lord gave the twelve apostles, the first church, the power to forgive sins. Decide and resolve. And when the Lord was resurrected, He appeared in renewed flesh through the walls. He ate food, drank water and left through the walls.

This is exactly the same spiritual flesh that we, His followers, must take. It means that the Lord created the spiritual world for us.

The world is huge, great. It is not available to the human mind.

As inaccessible, let's say the chicken that is in the egg.

Well, what can he know about our earthly life? Absolutely nothing.

And what can a child know in the womb? Also absolutely nothing.

And when the chicken hatches from the egg, and when the child is born, opens his eyes, comes to consciousness, he himself will see this great world.

So you and I live on earth like chickens in their shells or like a child in the womb. And when the time comes, we will be born, we will enter the spiritual world. In the world of eternity, where everything happens differently. There are other laws.

When one metropolitan was dying, he said: Lord, everything is different, everything is different, and he died. Such people do not die, they simply pass from one state to another. After all, a chicken comes out of one state, out of its shell, not in order to disappear, but in order to live. In the same way, a baby in the womb of the mother is already born not for death, but for life. For a complete life. This is very interesting, and the one who enters the abode of Paradise after doomsday, will find completely different laws there.

Suppose the earth is renewed, the heavenly city of Jerusalem descends to earth, as it is said in "Revelation" in chapter 21. Great city, 12 gates, angels on the gates. Streets of pure gold, not a single speck of dust. Gemstone houses. Of course, the vegetation is completely different. Not the one on earth.

There will be no transport, there people will communicate with each other in an instant and will not strain their vocal cords to say something to someone. Everyone will mentally understand each other. Of course, we envy the birds that fly, but man is prepared for the highest, for eternity. Therefore, the Apostle Paul was taken up to the third heaven, and I, he says, I don’t know whether he was there in the body or in the soul, but he was in eternity. And then from eternity he again returned to earthly time. And he said that the human ear did not hear and the eye did not see what God had prepared for those who loved Him.

As the holy fathers say: O Paradise, O Paradise! I cannot win you, I cannot comprehend with my mind what God has prepared for those who love Him! If one drop of the sweetness of Paradise falls into the salty sea, then the whole sea will delight. If one drop falls into hell, then suffering stops, fire is extinguished, and hell becomes Paradise.

Even the flower of paradise has such a grain that the globe cannot compare with it. It's impossible for us to understand. It's far away, but it's there. This is a reality, not some fairy tales, because God has no lies.

What God said is true.

As it is said: the righteous inherit eternal blessed life, and sinners inherit hellish torments. That is, the hellish state begins even here on earth. When a person has anger, evil, resentment, pride, disobedience, stubbornness inside - in a word, all kinds of passions. This is already a hellish state. But there are people who have silence, peace, joy, peace, rainbows of love in their souls. To God, to neighbor. It's a completely different state, and it's very interesting.

If you sharpen a pencil sharply and put a dot on paper, it will be a human fetus in the womb. This embryo contains genes - information about the future of man. The laws of nutrition, reproduction, nationality, character, illness, death - everything is there. There are legs, and handles, and eyes. Of course, a person does not need eyes, arms, legs there, in the womb. He will need them only when he is born, then he will need all this. There is no man yet, but air and everything necessary for life has already been prepared for him. Although he is in the womb upside down, surrounded by water.

And when he is born, everything is different, no longer upside down, but up. It is necessary to eat not through the umbilical cord, but through the mouth. And the food is completely different.

Still, it's interesting, and even more interesting is this. The Lord created the earth, created man, breathed the breath of life into his face, man eats the food that the earth grows for us. And how does all this happen in a person when conception occurs? Where does this living person come from, all programmed, everything is in him? When the first living cell appeared, no scientist knows, only God knows, isn't it a miracle? And look at the same miracle in animals. Billions of different animals, birds and fish, all have life, all have movement.

When God created the earth, He arranged it all by the Holy Spirit.

But it's all material.

And the Lord has prepared for us the spiritual world, eternal blissful life. And all of our earthly life- this is only a preparation for entering the spiritual world. Whatever we gain here, everything will go with us.

Right now, life is such that sorrows, illnesses, temptations are different, sometimes even during prayer the thought comes that when you move into the world of the majority, life is better for them anyway. Is this a sin? And how do you deal with it in general?

Save me, God! Father, this is a really interesting question.

Here a person is tired in this life, and wants to quickly move into that life. Isn't it akin to suicide? Isn't it one and the same?

No, not the same thing, because a person has a desire for life, well, for example, we see that people around us are dying. But we do not have this feeling inside. We only understand with our mind that the time will come and we will end, but inside this feeling there is no, because we are created for eternity. And why? Because the body is the earth. And when the Lord created man from the dust of the earth, the body was like a dead mummy.

And the Lord blew the breath of life into his face, gave a soul, revived a person.

He began to think and speak. The Lord has given us complete freedom.

All is in God's hands. When we set ourselves up so that we live here temporarily, that a new heaven and earth is prepared for us, and our life is short. The child was born and every day is getting closer and closer to death. And he won't escape it. I think everyone knows this, therefore those diseases that the Lord allows us, and sorrows, are all temporary.

To compare with the sorrows and illnesses that our Lord Jesus Christ endured is nothing. And with eternal suffering, our sorrows are nothing. If, for example, we take a red-hot fire in a furnace, the demons are not afraid of it, just as we are not afraid of the fire that is shown in the picture. But the evil spirits tremble like Gehenna fire, and how they tremble! Therefore, when a person passes into that world, into the spiritual world, he goes along with the person. If we here on earth try to carry full order in our soul, get rid of passions. And what kind of passions can there be? Someone smokes, drinks, fornicates, swears, gets irritated, proud, proud, stubborn, disobedient. If he does not get rid of this, then he will not enter the Kingdom of God. As not a single unclean thing enters.

And when the Lord takes us away, it is only His holy will. It happens that even great sinners go unrepentant into that world.

Sometimes the righteous get away. Only the Lord knows who when. Therefore, we must learn to thank God in illnesses, sorrows in persecution, and this is the most necessary thing. All these persecutions, sorrows, illnesses are nothing compared to eternal suffering and eternal joy. And the Lord does not send beyond his strength to anyone, but sends to each according to his strength. The most important thing is that you cannot focus on the thought that I am sick or on some kind of grief. Suppose, when a person climbs into cold water, all attention will be focused on his body, and, of course, he will be cold.

And if he concentrates all his attention on the prayer of Jesus: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner, then it will become twice as easy.

They even told me that there were such cases before, when, for some kind of crime, believers, when there were persecutions, were scourged, tied to a pole. And Christ was scourged too. But when a person is scourged, if he concentrates on God, prayer, then he endures scourging twice as easily. And if he concentrates everything on his body, it will be much harder to endure.

Father, I recently heard either from Elder John of Valaam or from Elder Nikon Vorobyov such an idea that one nun confessed to him that she was afraid of death.

He says you think wrong about death. You need to think about death not in the sense of how you will die. But if you think about what awaits you after death - this will be more correct. And the soul will be at peace.

Of course. If a person worked hard in his life, gave everything for the Lord, he will not be afraid to die

And you can't dwell on it.

For a believer, there is no death. Death is just a dream. The soul leaves the body for another world.

And the second question, is there a first, second and third heaven? Even before Paradise, before these abodes. Save you Lord!

There are seven heavens, they are divided conditionally. And whoever gets what - at least not get the sky, but be the last, the very last. But not in hell.

No, father, the question is that bodies are repeated in people. Maybe John the Baptist, this is some kind of angelic order? It was not a man - an angel. May I answer this question?

No, it's a person. The Lord prepared the prophet, the aprophet prepared the place for the Savior of the world. Catholics believe that the Mother of God is blameless. John Chrysostom, Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and all the fathers. You can look at interpretations, but it is dangerous to interpret and reflect on your own. You might think something wrong.

We have one more question. Where is the soul of a person before his birth into the world?

She worked from morning to evening. She had sheep, chickens, geese, a cow.

And she used all this economy to help the poor. Mary, the Kingdom of Heaven to her.

Father, do the dead in the next world need to pray?

They cannot pray for themselves, but they are waiting for our prayers. Our help. For example, do the deceased know about us, how we live? I think like this: here we see an egg in which a chicken and a mother who carries a child in the womb. He knows nothing about us, neither the chicken nor the child. And we know that the mother carries the child, that the chicken is in the egg for 21 days. We know something, but they don't know anything. So everything is open in the spiritual world.

Where is the spiritual world?

He is here with us, invisible. You can’t think that somewhere there is far, far and high. Our earth in the universe is a tiny speck of dust, imperceptible. And in this speck of dust, in Moscow at the Radonezh radio station, we are talking about the spiritual world.

This is a great secret. And we have stars around us, and below, and above, and the earth flies and revolves around the sun and moon. It is already hidden secret, the abyss of mystery.

Father, here is a question.

After all, everything we do, say, nothing disappears. Everything is imprinted in eternity for all time, so the soul must always be pure. I even say that in our monastery, many mothers and fathers, if they serve, then go to confession every day.

But what is meant is. While standing at the prayer, I was a little distracted, or ate too much, or talked too much. Maybe someone indirectly hurt, maybe condemned, or some thoughts flew in. So this is a different kind of confession. But when the grave sins of Sodom were committed, and sulfuric fire descended from the sky, destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, now the Dead Sea is there - these are already terrible mortal sins. And sometimes people don’t repent of them, well, why bother the priest.

After all, we come to the doctor and do not talk about our excellent health, but we talk about those sores that worry us.

So here it is necessary to heal the soul, and a person who is sick in the body, where is he in a hurry? In hospital. And when the soul is sick, where? To a spiritual hospital. A spiritual clinic is a temple where we open wounds to the Lord and the Lord heals us. When a person has a heavy heart, it is very disgusting, empty, and what does this mean? That we do not have a spiritual life.

There is such a dogma that the Lord is in hell with a soul, but as God is on the throne.

Yes, this is a terrible state of affairs.

And when a person passes into that world, everything will become aggravated, he will want to drink, smoke - but there is no body. It is not God who begins to torment us, but we ourselves here on earth.

Father, this example shows very clearly why such people will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Imagine, his own wife comes up to him, and he answers her with irritation and evil. It is the same in the church and in the kingdom of heaven, if a person gets there unrepentant. The Lord will come to him - and he will flare up with anger.

I recently read such a case.

One of the people was walking through the Egyptian desert and met the destroyed pagan temple of Venus. It was already night, and he decided to stop there, but he became scared. When he went there - such fear attacked that he did not know what to do. But he remembered that the Orthodox, when it's scary, need to overshadow themselves with a cross. He crossed himself - and his soul calmed down. And suddenly at night, at 12 o'clock, Satan and many demons come.

And Satan says, I feel like there's someone else here.

And one demon comes and says: Yes, here I met an empty sealed vessel in the corner. What does it mean?
