Kain is the fury of the sun or the altruist. Path of the Illidari: The only way out is to go ahead. Why do we need combat satellites

Although Altruis supported his mentor for a long time, he eventually decided that Illidan had become too distracted and obsessed with other issues instead of destroying demons. Altruis left the ranks of the Illidari and went on a journey through Outland, cracking down on demons with his own powers. His faithful companion was a Nether dragon named Netrandamus.

As long as the transporters were available to the demons, the raids on the camps would have had no effect. Altruis began to look for a way to destroy the Legion's buildings, and while he was developing a plan, the hero was asked to distract enemy engineers and repairmen in order to slow down progress. However, it soon became clear that the fel iron from which the transporters were made was not so easy to destroy.

Altruis knew that all Legion camps were built according to a single plan approved by the master planner. Usually this planner carried around a lot of blueprints. The demon hunter asked the hero to get these blueprints, which would allow him to seek help from an acquaintance of the Sufferer.

This acquaintance was a mo "arg named Salsalabim, who once served the Legion. Now he was in the Lower City of Shattrath and, staying in a bar, tried to drown his sadness in a glass. The hero, sent by Altruis along with the drawings, forced Salsalabim to cooperate. Mo "arg, after checking the drawings, offered to deploy the Fel cannons and fire them at the camp buildings. To turn the cannon, a key was required, which was kept by the guards.

The demon hunter liked the idea of the camps being destroyed by the Legion's own weapons. He sent the same hero on a mission: find the guards in both camps, take away the keys and use them to activate the guns. So, the Hatred and Fear camps were destroyed, which made it possible to contain the onslaught of the Legion in Nagrand.

Training grounds of Karabor

The Burning Crusade to World of Warcraft.

As the Aldor and Scryer forces began preparing to invade the Black Temple, the first target was the training ground of Karabor, where new demon hunters were trained. Both factions knew rumors of a Rogue Hunter who remained in Nagrand. Altruis hated the demons with all his heart and might have agreed to give the necessary information to the hero sent by the Aldors and the Seers. However, Altruis stated that he would not reveal anything until he received proof that the hero was fighting against the same enemies as him.

He offered the hero to deal with a demon named Xelet, who was true only to himself and fled from the ranks of the Legion. The primitive swamp creatures of Zangarmarsh revered Xelet as a deity. When Draenor almost died, the demon fell into a deep sleep under the waters of Swampfire Lake. It could be awakened by thrusting a strong silver spear near the portal by the lake. When the hero summoned Xelet, he mentioned that he still had a spear scar on his body. The hero, who returned victorious, was told by Altruis that he had once fought the demon himself.

The sufferer demanded that the hero confirm that he was not an ally of Illidan. Although Altruis still respected him and was grateful for his rise as a demon hunter, Illidan had changed - his soul was consumed by the lust for power and his mind darkened by defeat. The Mentor had become the one Altruis had sworn to destroy, and the Illidari were no less an abomination than the demons of the Burning Legion. On the instructions of the Sufferer, the hero went to the Illidari Outpost in Shadowmoon Valley and killed Lieutenant Lotros.

Of course, the main enemy of Altruis was the Legion, now and then corrupting the souls of mortals. The hero needed to prove that he was not on the side of the demons. Altruis asked to destroy the demoness named Satal, who at one time eluded him due to her incorporeality. The hero arrived at the forge base of Gehenna, where sinister priestesses worshiped Satal. The shed blood of one of the priestesses forced Satal to take on a material form for the sake of retribution, and the hero managed to deal with her at that moment. Altruis acknowledged that the hero's soul was not corrupted by the Legion.

Varedis

Finally, Altruis told the story of the one who was in charge at the training ground of Karabor - Varedis. This blood elf was one of the first of his kind to be given the opportunity by Illidan to become demon hunters. At first there were five blood elves, and they had to go through incredibly difficult trials. Three candidates died, another went mad. Only Varedis remained, who not only survived the tests, but also demonstrated unprecedented control over his newfound power.

Illidan saw great potential in Varedis and had three of his best students train him. In just a year, Varedis had surpassed all three and realized that the mentors could no longer teach him anything else. He infiltrated the Shadow Council and learned of an artifact called the Book of Fel Names. He read the book and carefully memorized all the information that was indicated in it. It was believed that knowledge true name demon grants some control over the bearer of the name, and the Book of Fel Names contained the names of all the demons that have ever existed. By memorizing the names, Varedis gained access to an energy source comparable to the skull of Gul "dan, which was used by Illidan. When Varedis finally returned to the Black Temple, Illidan ordered him to train new demon hunters. Three former mentors of Varedis helped him complete this task.

The hero expressed a desire to stop Varedis and his followers, but Altruis cooled his ardor - in order to fight with Varedis, it was necessary to find the very artifact that endowed him with power. It was rumored that the owner of the Book of Fel Names was a warlock named Blackheart the Instigator, who was hiding in the Dark Labyrinth in Auchindoun. The hero was able to get the artifact and delivered it to Altruis. The demon hunter flinched as he felt the power of the book from afar. He was almost seduced by the desire to retain this unprecedented power, but he managed to restrain himself. The sufferer told the hero that the book must be destroyed at the moment when Varedis will use his reincarnation so that he loses his powers.

Legion

The source of information in this section is an addendum Legion to World of Warcraft.

Despite the help provided by Altruis, after the fall of Illidan, the Guardians captured him along with the rest of the demon hunters. He ended up in the Vault of the Guardians, where he slept for several years until a new invasion of the Burning Legion began. Maiev Shadowsong awakened Altruis and the other Illidari to grant them their freedom in exchange for help in slaying the demons.

Although Altruis was reunited with his brethren, he still believed Illidan's actions were wrong. After his release, he met with Kain Sunfury, one of Illidan's most trusted lieutenants, who considered Altruis a traitor who had killed many demon hunters. Kaine refused to forgive Altruis, and Altruis refused to repent of his actions. The new leader of the Illidari, chosen in Illidan's absence, had to choose one of them as his closest lieutenant.

The first emotion that Korina the Silent felt after being released from confinement was irritation. Because nearby rose to their feet, getting out of the niches, Kain and Altruis.

In general, while the captivity lasted, Korina managed to experience many emotions.

Anger at yourself, at your mistake.

Disappointment in the choice of the path that led to this.

Sad misunderstanding of the former sisters.

Deaf bewilderment: why are they punished so terribly for a just cause?

Weary humility. There are many years ahead...

Lord Illidan once said that only the first thousand years are hard. Then you get used to it. Korina got used to it much faster, in just some miserable few years ... decades? She did not know how long she hung motionless, imprisoned in the crystal, looking at the world through the muddy greenery, unable even to look away. Just close your eyes, hooting into the even greater timelessness of your own silence.

At least it was familiar.

And then it was grossly violated.

No, Korina was grateful to the Guardians who split the crystal. Maybe all is not lost and Azeroth can still be saved. Perhaps the Guardians realized that a common goal is already a pledge of loyalty to the Illidari, which holds them much stronger than any chains.

May be...

Maybe these two will finally shut up?!

Clutching the handles of the blades tighter, Korina bared her teeth, throwing herself at the creatures that filled the Casemates. So at least silence reigned, the two behind her also only fought back in unison, following her as she led them through such familiar corridors.

The small detachment gradually grew, more Illidari joined it, the cloaks of the Guardians flickered around. There were also enough vile faces of demons and other inhabitants of the chambers, they had to cut through to the exit, allowing themselves only rare respite. And with each of them, the annoyance grew, because it was worth stopping and taking a breath, Kine and Altruis grappled again.

Korina disliked both.

What kindred who brought so many troubles there, in Outland, doubting and, in fact, betraying his brothers and sisters. Yes, Korina perfectly understood that not everyone has the strength to restrain the demon, not everyone has the will to follow the chosen path ... But it is difficult to achieve great success alone. Even Lord Illidan needed support. And he did not kill former brethren, as Altruis did.

As for Kain... It seems to have been in the blood of all those who once followed Dath'Remar. Blind boundless devotion to the leaders, which cost the lives of many. Why look far: how the blood elves believed their Kael'thas and what came of it.

Korina could have expressed her opinion to both, but habitually remained silent. She was silent when she left, barking angrily at the end, Altruis. She was silent when Cain was crucified later.

She made a decision, one thing that was only right for her. Perhaps Lord Illidan would not have been pleased with him... Just as Mev was definitely not pleased once, when one of the Guardians went to the Illidari. But then it was the right way. And now Korina knew one thing: the decision to believe or not to believe Illidan was hers alone.

She won't reject anything right away. She will watch. Weigh. Think.

And stand until the end in only one.

Stand to the end for Azeroth.

The brightest representatives of the German engineering school are united by both constructive and design solutions. They have in common not only the power structure of the body, but also glass and doors. However, hardly anyone dares to say that these cars are twins. "Volkswagen Tuareg" - an impressive, respectable traveler. "Porsche Cayenne" - a young dude pumped up in an expensive fitness room. And of course, everyone fits perfectly into their corporate style.

THE MEASURE OF LUXURY

Subjectively, the Tuareg is a little more spacious than the Cayenne. The measurements confirmed this. But the difference is small and is due only to more massive interior details of the latter. The designers tried to emphasize that this all-terrain vehicle is from the Porsche breed - a sports car that does not allow relaxation, on the contrary, it requires complete fusion from the driver. Hence the deep sports seat, which is great on its own, but makes getting in and out of any tall car even more difficult. But when you sit down, you don't want to leave.

The design of the Tuareg is more traditional for a quite ordinary family car, albeit an expensive one. It is easier to sit in it, the tunnel between the seats is less pressing. But hardly anyone will complain that the Volkswagen is not finished richly enough. Its interior is simply calmer and stricter. Perhaps, "Porsche" even suppresses luxury a little, but this is a matter of taste. As well as the design decisions of the governing bodies. Let's say, I like the Porsche toggle switches that control the ground clearance and transmission more, I admit, someone is nicer and more understandable than the Volkswagen wheels.

THE POWER OF CHARACTER

The most powerful "Tuareg" in our market is 360-horsepower, the weakest "Porsche" - with a 300-horsepower engine. This determines not only the price of cars (the most expensive Tuareg costs about the same as the cheapest Cayenne), but also character traits.

Comparing cars in a face-to-face meeting, you can learn to distinguish them on the go, even blindfolded. Although the differences are not fundamental. For example, the Tuareg's suspension is a little softer, although stiffness is adjustable on both cars. But the difference in the behavior of cars in the Comfort and Normal positions is not easy to feel, while in Sport both SUVs become noticeably stiffer. "Tuareg" in Sport is about the same as "Cayenne" in Normal.

The Volkswagen steering wheel is slightly lighter and less sensitive. The car rolls a little more in corners. This is partly due to the fact that the ground clearance is 30 mm more than the Porsche. By the way, both cars can be raised by 75–80 mm, but the Volkswagen, I repeat, is initially higher.

Slightly differently, for specific engines, the same 8-speed automatics are configured and structurally identical. It's not just the different gear ratios of the first three stages. The Porsche shifts faster, especially downshifts when the car slows down hard. The transmission capabilities are almost the same.

Our Tuareg does not have a locking rear differential, but this is a matter of configuration. In general, the more frivolous "Porsche" is practically not inferior to such a serious-looking "Volkswagen" either on difficult terrain or on virgin snow. Both are quite mature off-road vehicles for their class. It's funny that the front overhang of the bumper in terms of cross-country ability is a bit more successful for the Cayenne. But this is not a well-thought-out constructive solution, but only a design feature.

SECRETS OF EQUALITY

If we thought of scoring, as in traditional tests, it would not be easy to choose a winner. And yet they are not the same!

Of course, the differences may seem small to some. But only at first glance. Even if you forget for a moment that the Porsche, as a rule, is much more powerful and faster than the Tuareg, these co-platformers cannot be called twins. In an era of single platforms and industrial alliances, it is the nuances that define the character of a car and therefore our choices. And also such aspects as design and quality of finishing materials. And let someone say that it doesn't matter ...

Over the entire Legacy of Kain series, thirty named characters of varying degrees of primacy appear in it. And the characters of even secondary characters are often poorly disclosed or not disclosed at all. Thus, such a concept as OOS is expressed very weakly in LoC. And yet it is. In this article, I will consider three types of character traits: those that are given officially (from the game or official near-game sources), those that are attributed to fanon (mainly English), and those that, in my opinion as a psychology student, are logical (with Justify ). Naturally, for someone there is more information, for someone - less. My primary source of character information outside of the game is the English wikia for Legacy of Kain. So let's get started. Let's start, perhaps, with the most significant of the characters - Cain himself. His character changes quite noticeably over time and over the course of the game series, but still some features remain common. Among such features are ruthlessness to traitors, irascibility, self-confidence, pride, cruelty. Cain is bold, to say the least, fearless, resolute. Likes to mock enemies, often revels in their helplessness and fear, sarcastic. But, nevertheless, at certain moments, nobility is not alien to him. He knows how to keep his word and most often acts as a champion of justice (in his own terms). And one more thing: Cain is honest and straightforward. In all five games, he never lied even in small things. He sees no point in hiding or streamlining anything. Cain cannot be called a cruel, unprincipled bastard and scoundrel, as some do, his character is mixed with both positive and negative traits. Next, we consider different time periods. Young Cain (times of the first VO). Naive, vulnerable to manipulation, proud, vengeful, often reckless. Self-criticism is not familiar to him. During the first VO, he gradually comes to the conclusion that vampirism is more of a gift than a curse. Cain during the Second World War is in many ways similar to the previous case, except that credulity has diminished. Here, such traits as lust for power and selfishness are manifested. Changes are caused by the fact that everyone betrayed him. I would say that Cain's suspicion here borders on paranoia (the murder of Uma). Nobility is shown in the scene of the murder of Magnus. You can also notice that, despite everything, Cain does not shed blood when it is not necessary. In this part, he still does not know how to admit his mistakes. "I didn't have a spy named Uma." "You're lying!" Old Cain from Soul Reaver onwards. Changes in character are primarily due to acquired wisdom. Cain became in many ways a philosopher, although the old habits, if you look closely, have changed, but not disappeared. Also in his speech slips interesting feature : expand the interlocutor's thought. "Your fatalism is tiring," says Raziel. “And deeply rooted,” Cain adds. The scene in William's chapel shows that Cain has learned to admit his mistakes. Cain is already less selfish, because over the years his life has lost its meaning, and now he sees it in fulfilling his destiny. Cain's main idea is to save Nosgoth and the vampire race. He got rid of the paranoid distrust of everything and everything, but, nevertheless, he is wary of any information. "But rocks can lie too." Raziel. At the beginning - vulnerable to manipulation, often naive, succumbing to emotions, self-willed. Extremely willful. However, he is no stranger to cunning. Noble and fearless, however, like Cain, sometimes he likes to make fun of others and is very cruel. He likes to play on the nerves of his enemies (primarily Möbius), gets obvious pleasure from their impotent anger. Sometimes impulsive. But, despite all these traits, he is very smart, which allows him to eventually see all the intricacies of manipulation. He is noble, but sometimes he lacks firmness (the scene with Janos at the end of Defianc-a), he has a pronounced sense of justice, although he does not always give a correct assessment of what is happening. Human Raziel, it should be noted, is not much different from a ghost in habits and character, and, presumably, the vampire Raziel was the same. However, his human image gives us another trait: a fanatical devotion to his ideals. Raziel the vampire is characterized by a strong belief in the divinity of the origin of vampires, gratitude and unconditional loyalty to his creator, Cain. Turel. Not much is known about him. Raziel calls him righteous and faithful to his duty, from which one can conclude that the second lieutenant has rather positive qualities. He believed in the ideals that his superiors instilled in him, be it Moebius or Cain. It should be noted that Raziel is lying when he says that Turel threw him off without waiting for Kain's command. Turel didn't just wait, he hesitated and glanced back at his Master before tossing his brother into the whirlpool. Turel Possessed. His mind was clouded, bloodthirstiness appeared and, if I can say, fastidiousness (“First the blood flows, then the victim is abandoned”). Turel is proud ("I have become a god. Greater than you, and even greater than Kain!"), suffers because of the Hyldens, and rejoices when Raziel kills him, freeing his soul. Douma. A great warrior, but reckless and proud. Pride, perhaps, his main vice. Raziel remarks that Doma would be burned with shame if he knew that Raziel would find him defeated by human weapons. The Elder God notes that the reason for the fall of his clan was the arrogance of the third lieutenant. Rahab. Raziel called him an unfit. The exact reasons are unknown. By the time Raziel returns, Rahab is phlegmatic, accepting the news that he will be killed with complete indifference. He is devoted to Kain to the very end, which causes the wrath of Raziel. Perhaps he knew about who he himself and his brothers were in human life. Zephon. Cunning, sarcastic, likes to make fun of others. According to the art director of the series, his character influenced his evolution. From this we can conclude that Zephon is patient and cunning. According to the same art director, Zephon the vampire has a black soul, unlike him. By the time Raziel returned, his mind had fallen to the level of an insect. Most likely, by that time he had united his mind into a kind of collective with his clan. Zephon takes pride in capturing and using human structures and weapons as a home, which underscores his love of irony. Raziel notices that Zephon is cowardly and likes to set a trap or strike from the shadows. The art director also notes that Zephon is not the best fighter and not the smartest, but the most cunning of the brothers, an excellent politician and masterfully weaves a "web of deceit". Also, his politics are well balanced, which shows him as a great planner. Small. Little is known about his personality other than that he was violent. But perhaps this is due to his degradation and the fact that he himself, apparently, was in constant pain. Differs in fatalism. Möbius. Cunning, treacherous, loves to show off, does not disdain anything in order to achieve his goal. An excellent actor. Sacredly believes in his ideals and does not allow even the thought of their collapse. Mortanius. Noble and also devoted to his ideals, but intelligent enough to question their truth and double-check. Capable of self-sacrifice, very strong. Above all, he places his duty as the Keeper of the Pillar. For the sake of his goal, he is capable of complex manipulations and deceit. Shows great fortitude, resisting the Hyldens and heroically nullifying all their efforts when they lose power over him. Malek. The fanatical leader of the Sarafan order, a staunch vampire-hater like Moebius. After the Circle's fall into Madness and/or physical body began to believe that his animated armor is the pinnacle of evolution. Loyal to the Circle and personally to Mobius, he blames not his fellow Guardians, but Vorador for what happened to him. Above all, he puts his duty as a guardian of the Circle. Anarkroff. Cowardly and selfish, he believes that the Pillars are for the Guardians, and not vice versa, because of this disagreement with Mortanius and dies. Azimuth. After falling into Madness, she unleashed a horde of demons on Avernus. Nothing more is known about her. DeJoule. Just like her comrades, she hates vampires. Pretty cautious, but not cowardly, a little arrogant. Bain. He resisted the idea of creating Dark Eden, but eventually gave in under pressure from his fellow Guardians. From which we can conclude that he still continued to love nature in its original form, despite Madness, but, nevertheless, he could be “persuaded” to do something that was unpleasant for him. Napraptor. He was obsessed with love for Ariel and became extremely cruel after her death. Selfish. The death of a loved one made him a recluse. Before that, he was considered the wisest member of the Circle, and people went to him for advice. Ariel. Obsessed with the idea of saving Nosgoth, but remains in question, for the sake of Nosgoth himself or for the sake of calming her own spirit. She probably didn't do her duty the way she was supposed to, which is why she became a ghost. Although it could be the influence of Mortanius. Uma. Suspicious of Kain, devoted to Vorador and the idea of exalting the vampire race. Its main value is the freedom of vampires from alien tyranny. Often does not calculate her own strength, is a little arrogant, sometimes allows herself a condescending appeal to Cain. Under the threat of her own life, she is able to change her mind at least in words, but, which is typical, she can agree with Cain, but not give out information to the sworn enemy, that is, her character has stamina, but not integrity. Sebastian. An insidious creature with delusions of grandeur. He betrayed Cain because he "underestimated" him. Extremely bloodthirsty, arrogant and likes to mock others. Possesses inordinate conceit. Marcus. Another insidious creature with megalomania, but this time - more cowardly. Faust. The same as Marcus, only more cowardly. First of all, he looks where it is more profitable for him, he does not have his own ideals. Magnus. Devoted personally to Cain, even excessively. Possibly fanaticism. After being imprisoned in the Eternal Prison, he became extremely bloodthirsty. Apparently, Cain's only friend in his entire life. seer. She appeared briefly, so almost nothing is known about her character. Mockingly communicates with Cain, fearless. She worries about the fate of Nosgoth, but she is not sure that the world can still be saved. Vorador. His character changed from part to part, perhaps the most. However, the main thing remains in him - hatred for people, cruelty, revenge, the ability to survive and love for his Master. Nothing excites Vorador like the fate of vampires, he is ready for a lot to save his race. Helps all vampires wandering into his estate. Vorador is wise and prefers not to meddle in human affairs whenever possible. Janos Audron. Altruist, noble, sincerely hates only Hilden. Philosopher, prone to self-sacrifice. Committed to duty. Hash "ak" geek. Its main feature is hatred towards vampires and self-righteousness. He is also inclined to mock enemies and be ironic. Obsessed with the idea of revenge and is not capable of mercy towards people or vampires. The latter for him are sworn enemies and tormentors, the former are just tools. King Ottmar. Flashed only in the first part. He was a wise king and a loving father, but rather weak-willed, although brave. What happened to his daughter broke the king so much that he could no longer fulfill his duty as a ruler. Elsevier the puppeteer. An obvious psycho, in love, but with a strange love, in a princess. Collected human souls. Why - and remained a mystery. Elder God. Surprisingly, very little is known about his character. He does not like vampires just because they are not suitable for him to eat. And he doesn't care about anything but his own food. It is unlikely that he has feelings in the sense familiar to people. He is confident in his own invincibility, but, despite this, he is afraid of Cain. Skillful manipulator. William (Nemesis). He was loved by the people, but, nevertheless, the personality, apparently, was not the most pleasant. Arrogant, power-hungry, arrogant. It should be noted that Nemesis at the time of the main VO-1 timeline is from 65 to 70 years old, respectively, Cain killed him at 15-20. As a young man, he was very self-confident and did not put in anything either Möbius or Cain. In the next part of the article there will be fewer characters, and I will analyze the character traits and habits adopted in the fanon and give a brief analysis of them in accordance with the canonical image. If you have something to add, or I just forgot someone, write in the comments.

Class Hall- This is an innovation that appeared in the game with the release of the Legion. The class hall is a zone in which members of the class can perform various actions.

For example:

  • return points nested in properties ;
  • change the appearance of the artifact;
  • Complete a class hall mission with hired champions and units
  • delve into the history and the artifact by completing special tasks;
  • purchase sets of combat and decorative equipment from the quartermaster;
  • Earn a reward for completing a dungeon in Advanced Mythic difficulty.

Initially, class halls were often compared to garrisons, but now the differences have become clear. Below, we’ll cover how to get to the class hall the first time you spawn in the Broken Isles, and how to manage champions and units.

1. How to open the hall of your class?

Each player can get into the stronghold of his class immediately after the release of the expansion.

When you first arrive in new Dalaran, a member of your class will approach you. He will give a task that allows you to get an artifact weapon for the selected specialization. After completing the chain, you can get into the class hall. These quests are unmissable as they are an integral part of progress in the new expansion.

2. How to return to the stronghold of your class?

After gaining access to the stronghold, you can enter it through a portal located in Dalaran, or using a teleportation spell. In particular:

  • Death Knight: Gate of death.
  • Demon Hunter: Head to Krasus Landing, jump off the edge of the platform and glide through the air to a small floating island. There is a portal on this island.
  • Druid: Teleport to the class hall with the Dreamwalker .
  • Hunter: Travel to Kras' Landing and find Talua. She will send you to the class hall riding an eagle.
  • Mage: Teleport to a class hall with Teleport: Hall of the Guardian .
  • Monk: Teleport to the class hall with Spirit Journey .
  • Paladin:
  • Priest: Travel to your faction's shrine (Sunreaver Sanctuary for the Horde and Argent Enclave for the Alliance) for a portal to the class hall.
  • Rogue: Go to Glorious Goods in Dalaran. To the left of the entrance there will be a secret passage that allows you to get into the class stronghold.
  • Shaman: Go to Kras's Landing. On the right side of the site you will find a portal to the class hall.
  • Warlock: Go down to the Stokes and find the portal located at the bottom of the stairs.
  • Warrior: Go to Kras's Playground and find Val "kira. Go into the beam of light next to her. An additional action button will appear on the screen. Press the button and you will be taken to the class stronghold.

3. Where are the Class Halls located?

Each class hall is located in a place that is significant in terms of the history of the class. In particular:

  • Death Knight: Arcerus: The Ebon Hold that has moved to the Broken Isles
  • Demon Hunter: Felhammer, former stronghold of the Burning Legion located in Mardum
  • Druid: Grove of Dreams, Val "shara
  • Hunter: Arrow Refuge, Highmountain
  • Mage: Hall of the Guardian, Dalaran
  • Monk: Temple of Five Dawns, Wandering Isle
  • Paladin: The Sanctuary of Light, located under Light's Hope Chapel in the Eastern Plaguelands
  • Priest: Netherlight Temple, part of Karabor (city in Shadowmoon Valley)
  • Rogue: The Chamber of Shadows located in the Underbelly of Dalaran
  • Shaman: The Heart of Azeroth, located above the Maelstrom
  • Warlock: Dreadscar Rift, located in one of the worlds of the Legion
  • Warrior: Skyhold, Stormheim

4. Artifacts and Class Halls

In the Legion, members of each class have access to a special weapon called an artifact. This weapon does not require replacement during the entire expansion. An artifact can be upgraded with the power of the artifact by investing it in traits (similar to talents for characters).

In the class hall, you can:

  • change the features of the artifact;
  • get an artifact for the second specialization;
  • change the appearance of the artifact.

4.1. How to reset artifact points?

As characters spend time in the Broken Isles, they gain more and more Artifact Power points. Points can be invested in features that give advantages in combat. In some cases, players make the wrong choice and want to redistribute points invested in features.

This can be done in the class hall, at the forge for weapons. The Forge appears the moment you gain access to the Order Hall, and is not difficult to find at all. To change the features of an artifact, simply talk to the character who is standing next to the forge.

It should be noted that the cost of redistribution increases depending on the number of points available. For example, if you have 11 spent points and want to redistribute them, the reallocation cost will be equal to the cost of adding 12 points. A detailed table of reallocation costs is provided below.

Number of pointsRedistribution cost
1 300
2 325
3 350
4 375
5 400
6 425
7 450
8 525
9 625
10 750
11 875
12 1,000
13 6,840
14 8,830
15 11,280
16 14,400
17 18,620
18 24,000
19 30,600
20 39,520
21 50,880

Of course, you can redistribute more points, but we strongly recommend that you do not do this, because. the effect of the redistribution will not justify the number of points spent. Sooner or later, you will be able to open all the features of the artifact.

In any case, it will be better to spend points not on a redistribution, but on a new feature.

4.2. How to get an artifact for the second specialization?

While traveling through the Broken Isles, you may want to change your specialization and get a different artifact. In this case, you will need to upgrade the character to level 102.

Return to the class hall and take the quest, just like you did for the first artifact. The third and fourth (for druids) artifacts are mined in the same way.

4.2.1. How to add features for the second specialization

Once you get an artifact for the second specialization, you will be able to invest points in its features in the same way as for the first artifact. The cost of traits remains the same, regardless of how many points were invested in the first artifact.

Artifacts for different specializations do not depend on each other, however, the stock of artifact power is the same for all. When getting additional Artifact Power points, you will have to decide which of the existing Artifacts you plan to improve. The choice depends solely on personal needs and preferences.

4.3. How to change the appearance of an artifact?

In the past, players have looked forward to new additions to get new weapons that were unlike the previous ones. Each artifact comes with a unique set of skins, so players can change the look of the weapon to their liking.

To change the appearance of the artifact, you need to go to the forge in the hall of the class and open the tab Appearance. In it, you can view all possible skins, including those that have not yet been opened.

There are 5 main ways to get new skins (4 colors in total):

  • the base skin, obtained by completing simple tasks from the class hall, only changes the color of the weapon;
  • Improved appearance, obtained by completing simple tasks related to the class hall and artifact;
  • skin for merit in PvP;
  • skin for merit in PvE;
  • hidden appearance, method of obtaining is still unknown.

4.3.1. Hidden Artifact Skins

This section will be updated as more information becomes available.

5. Class Hall Resources and Improvements (Legion 7.0.3)

Like the garrison on Draenor, the Class Hall needs to be upgraded to better fight the Legion's forces. The more resources you manage to accumulate, the better! Order hall resources are used to:

  • hiring units;
  • completing tasks;
  • research for improvement;
  • execution of orders.

5.1. How to get order hall resources

The developers didn't try to force players to collect Order Resources in any particular way, so you can choose the one that suits you. Below is full list resource sources.

  • Order Hall Campaigns: When a player starts a campaign, they receive Order Hall Resources in the amount needed to complete the campaign. Completing story missions, he continues to receive additional resources.
  • World Quests: This is not the most reliable source of Order Hall Resources, but there are quite a few quests with resource rewards. Once you reach level 110, you can complete world quests in the Broken Isles. Details can be read here.
  • Emissary chests: There are emissary daily quests in the game, which involve completing 4 world quests related to a specific faction of the Broken Isles. Upon reaching the goal, you can get a chest, the contents of which depend on the faction to which the emissary belongs. You can find a decent amount of Order Hall Resources in the chest.
  • Hidden treasures: Similar to Draenor, there are hidden treasures in the Broken Isles that can contain Order Resources. You can buy treasure maps that will show the location of all the chests, but before that you will have to pump up the reputation with the corresponding faction (up to Honored). The card can be purchased from the quartermaster.
  • Killing rare monsters: This method of obtaining resources has also been known since Draenor. When you kill a rare monster, you get a certain amount of Order Hall Resources.
  • Additional goals: Additional Objectives are one-time quests in different locations in the Broken Isles. You just need to come to the right place and achieve the specified goal. Work is rewarded with Order Hall Resources.
  • Combat satellites: Champions with this trait can accompany you on your travels and help you in combat. If you have the appropriate Hall upgrade, you can receive additional Order Hall Resources by completing a World Quest with your companion. The amount of resources depends on the champion's equipment level. Details about equipment can be found in the Champions section.

5.2. What is the class hall upgrade?

The Class Hall upgrade system allows you to conduct research and receive bonuses in exchange for Class Hall Resources. The improvement of the stronghold follows the same pattern as the improvement of the artifact.

When starting research, prepare to spend a lot of Hall Resources and time (at least at the start of the expansion). In each shooting range, you can choose one of the proposed options, and different classes have access to different options. Below are all the options available to the different classes, with an indication of the cost and duration of the study.

5.3. Upgrade Options

5.4. Best Ways to Improve

In this section, we will look at the optimal ways to improve, which depend on the game progress of the character. It must be remembered that in most cases the choice is made based on the personal preferences of the player. Of course, we will give some recommendations, but we want to warn you that you should not follow them thoughtlessly.

5.4.1. Level 1

When leveling, representatives of all classes will need a bonus to the chance of receiving an improved reward for completing story missions.

At level 110, when there are no story quests left, you can switch to the second upgrade (a bonus to the chance of successfully completing the quests of the stronghold).

5.4.2. Level 2

In this shooting range, the choice depends on the class of the character.

  • Death Knight or Paladin: At present, the first option seems to be the most valuable. The second option will be useful for those who constantly fail the quests of the stronghold due to the fact that the champions cannot repel all threats.
  • Demon Hunter or Warlock: The first bonus is more useful in the short term, that is, when pumping to get better equipment. When the raids open, you can switch to the second bonus.
  • Druid: An upgrade that allows you to get additional items, useful at the start of the expansion. When you get good equipment, look for an improvement that reduces the time to complete tasks.
  • Hunter or mage: The first upgrade is similar to Draenor's Mage Tower and Spirit Realm and allows you to travel around the Broken Isles. After flights are introduced, you will be able to use the second upgrade.
  • Monk, priest or shaman: When pumping, it is recommended to use a bonus for the character. At level 110, the bonus for units will be of great use.
  • Rogue: You will need the Storage Voucher option.
  • Warrior: The extra loot will come in handy at the start of the game, and the quest time reduction will come in handy after the release of raid content.

5.4.3. Level 3

If you're new to gearing champions, grab a bonus that allows you to place orders for equipment or receive it for completing quests.

By dressing champions, increase the maximum number of units.

5.4.4. Level 4

Upgrading large units is of great benefit (assuming they have to fight bosses).

5.4.5. Level 5

Death knights, druids, monks and shamans must always choose the third unit type. The rest of the improvements do not go to any comparison with this option.

Demon Hunters, Mages and Paladins may choose to improve based on personal preference, depending on available resources. Choose from additional printing or a bonus to world quests. Both options leave much to be desired.

Hunter, Priest, Rogue, Warlock or Warrior At the initial stage, a bonus will come in handy, allowing you to receive additional Class Hall Resources when completing world tasks with a combat companion. As soon as you no longer need resources, switch to another bonus.

5.4.6. Level 6

Only one upgrade is available at this level.

6. Class Hall Quests (Legion 7.0.3)

6.1. How can I access class hall quests?

Once you've completed the quest to obtain an artifact that matches your specialization, you'll see a map and be able to select the zone from which to begin your journey through the Broken Isles.

Swing as usual until you reach 325 points. artifact power. After that, return to Dalaran to contact the class representative who issued the quest to obtain the artifact. The class representative will ask you to return to the stronghold and complete simple tasks. As a result you will get:

  1. first champions;
  2. First squad;
  3. access to the class hall upgrade system;
  4. access to class hall quests.

6.2. Order Hall Quests

Just like in Draenor, you can assign missions to your champions and units. To do this, you need to use the card in the hall of the class.

6.2.1. Job Interface

The task interface of the stronghold is practically no different from the interface of the tasks of the garrison. By selecting the desired tab, you will see all available tasks, as well as those tasks that are already in progress. In addition, you can assign a combat companion here.

The Companions tab displays all champions and units. Here you can level up champions' equipment, view their abilities and unit status, and restore those who have been fired.

6.2.2. How to start a task?

If you want to complete the class hall quest, follow a simple algorithm:

  1. open the stronghold mission interface;
  2. select the task you want to complete;
  3. evaluate the threat posed by each opponent;
  4. select champions and squads to reflect the maximum number of threats;
  5. click the Start Job button.

6.2.3. Threats

When choosing units and champions, it is necessary to take into account the existing threats. There are 5 types of threats, and their combinations influence the final choice.

Types of threats:

  • Strength: These opponents reduce the chance of successful completion of the task.
  • Slowdown: This threat doubles the mission time if not neutralized.
  • Curse: This threat makes it impossible to get additional loot if it is not neutralized.
  • Disorientation: This threat doubles the resource cost of completing a mission if left unchecked.
  • Death: This threat kills all units, regardless of their survivability, unless neutralized.

6.2.4. Additional loot

By assigning a task to associates, you can make a team so that the probability of successful completion will exceed 100%. In this case, you will receive additional loot with some probability. The chance of getting additional loot is calculated as follows:

  • If the quest has a 150% success rate, you are guaranteed to complete the quest and receive additional loot with a 50% chance.
  • If the quest success rate is 200%, you are guaranteed to complete it and get additional loot guaranteed.

The type of additional loot depends on the type of the main reward. Below is a table with all possible types of additional loot.

Main award Additional loot
Artifact PowerSeal of Victory or Seal of Leadership
GoldGold
Blood of SargerasBlood of Sargeras
Reputation badgeGift of the Broken Isles

An item that allows you to get a quest to complete the dungeonReputation Badge (50 or 250 reputation with the dungeon faction)
An item that allows you to get a task to complete the raidSeal for an extra roll in the same week

6.2.5. Job types

There are currently four types of quests that can be completed in the Class Hall.

  • General tasks: These are the most common quests and rarely give special rewards. The reward is usually gold, experience, and artifact power.
  • Orders related to the stronghold campaign: These tasks are directly related to class campaigns and are an integral part of them, i.е. they must be completed in order to proceed to a new stage of the campaign. There is practically no reward for them, with the exception of the power of the artifact.
  • Treasure hunt quests: By leveling champions to item level 800 (dungeon) or 820 (raid), you will gain access to special quests that reward character equipment. In addition, you can get Blood of Sargeras for them.
  • Quests related to the extraction of decorative items: These are very rare tasks, as a reward for completing you can get toys or pets.

7. Class Hall Champions (Legion 7.0.3)

Champions are significant historical figures that can be recruited during the course of campaigns. Champions can:

  • complete tasks in the class hall;
  • accompany the player as combat companions on their travels across the Broken Isles.

Each class has its own champions that tell its story. At any given time, you might have 5 out of 8 champions. As with Draenor garrison allies, superfluous champions will have to be fired. Otherwise, you will not be able to start the task. If you want to re-hire a fired champion, you will have to pay 250 gold (no more than once a day).

7.1. How to hire champions?

All champions can be recruited during the class hall campaign. The first campaign can be started by accumulating 325 units. artifact power. This will allow you to recruit the first champions.

Upon reaching level 103, you will be able to return to the class hall, complete the second campaign and recruit two more champions.

The rest of the champions appear in the hallway in the same way.

Below are the lists of all champions for each class.

7.2. How to dress champions?

Like garrison comrades, champions gain the ability to use weapons and equipment during the leveling process (the first slot is unlocked when leveling to rare quality, the second - when leveling to epic quality).

When preparing for battle, it is necessary to find worthy equipment for the champion. Equipment can be obtained using:

  • class hall assignments;
  • treasures;
  • local tasks;
  • assignments from emissaries;
  • class hall upgrades.

All equipment available to champions can be divided into several categories depending on the impact on the process of completing tasks.

7.2.1. Quest completion chance

  • equipment that increases the probability of successful completion of tasks by a certain percentage;
  • equipment that increases the likelihood of successfully completing tasks lasting less than 4 hours;
  • equipment that increases the chance of successfully completing missions lasting more than 8 hours.

7.2.2. Duration of tasks

7.2.3. Champion Affiliation

This category includes equipment that provides interaction between champions. You can give a champion an item that increases their chance of completing a quest if they are grouped with a certain type of champion. Each class has access to unique sets of such items. Types in this category:

  • equipment that increases the chance of successful completion of the mission, provided that the champion is accompanied by a small squad;
  • equipment that increases the chance of successful completion of the mission, provided that the champion is accompanied by a large squad.

7.2.4. Combat satellites

This category contains items intended for champions with the Combat satellite. Detailed information about combat satellites is contained in the next section. Equipment from this category allows you to receive more valuable rewards for World Quests completed in the presence of a combat companion. Types in this category:

  • equipment that allows you to receive additional Order Hall Resources when completing world quests;
  • equipment that allows you to get additional gold when completing world quests.

7.2.5. Consumables

There are consumable items in the game that can be used to buff champions and units in preparation for missions. You can apply one of three effects to a champion, depending on their class:

  • Death Knights, Monks, Paladins and Rogues: Equipment increases the success rate of the next quest by 20%;
  • Demon Hunter, Druid, Mage, Priest, Shaman, Warlock: Equipment restores 1 HP. survivability of one detachment;
  • Warrior: This equipment summons the Valarjar to aid your champion.

7.2.6. Legendary Equipment

Legendary equipment differs from regular equipment in that it is very difficult to obtain. In addition, it provides the champion with a powerful effect (a combination of the two above). Legendary equipment types:

  • Increases the chance of successful completion of the task by 15% and
  • Reduces quest completion time by 15% and
    • grants 25 additional Order Resources for completing a World Quest with a Battle Companion, or
    • Grants 15 additional gold for completing a World Quest with a Battle Companion.
  • Grants 100 additional Order Resources for completing a World Quest with a Battle Companion and
    • increases the chance of successful completion of the task by 5% or
    • reduces task completion time by 5%, or
    • Grants 15 additional gold for completing a World Quest with a Battle Companion.
  • Grants 50 additional gold for completing a World Quest along with a Battle Companion and
    • increases the chance of successful completion of the task by 5% or
    • reduces task completion time by 5%, or
    • Grants 25 additional Order Resources for completing a World Quest with a Battle Companion.

7.3. Why are combat satellites needed?

As you recruit champions, you'll notice that some of them have an ability that allows them to accompany you on your travels across the Broken Isles. Like the Bodyguards on Draenor, these champions help fight monsters in the open world. However, they cannot be led into the dungeon. There are three types of combat satellites:

  • A companion that follows you around engages your opponents and uses its abilities to kill them as quickly as possible. As the character's equipment level increases, the combat companion's strength grows. Such a companion may die, but he resurrects very quickly (unlike bodyguards).
  • The Companion casts one of two types of special spell on you:
    • an effect that triggers when certain requirements are met (for example, hitting an enemy or receiving a certain amount of damage);
    • additional action button with cooldown.

7.3.1. How to get combat satellites?

To get a Battle Companion, you need to find a champion with the right ability (Combat Companion). The table above shows which champions can act as a Bodyguard or Combat Companion. Having hired the desired champion, go to the map for the issuance of tasks. Open the Combat Satellite tab. Designate the desired champion as your companion (this action costs 50 Order Resources).

The Combat Companion cannot complete Order quests or equip equipment, but it does gain experience by completing World Quests together.

8. Order Order Units (Legion 7.0.3)

Champions are significant historical figures who are respected by members of their class. Members of the squads are ordinary fighters called to help them. Units have a special consumable resource - survivability. Survivability allows units to participate in missions. As soon as the survivability ends, the squad dies. Units don't have equipment or levels, they play the role of cannon fodder while the champion does his job.

Squads cannot go on a mission alone. They definitely need a commander - a champion. On the other hand, it is not necessary to send units to help the champion, but this increases the chance of successful completion of tasks (by 15% for small units and 30% for large units).

8.2.5. How to make a squad?

The process of recruiting ordinary members of the squad is extremely simple. Find a character in the stronghold who takes orders. Recruiting a squad takes 30 minutes and costs 20 (for small squads) or 85 (for large squads) Order Hall Resources. You can make up a large or small squad, depending on your needs.

Units of the third type are available only to death knights, druids, monks and mages. Recruitment to a special squad takes 12 hours, however, such fighters have great potential (+30% to the probability of successful completion of the task and an additional ability that reflects the threat). As soon as the recruitment is completed, the squad will be ready for battle.

You can hire units indefinitely, however, the number of units active at any given time is limited (3 small and 2 large). The above classes can only use one special unit. The maximum number of active units can be increased by upgrading the class hall (level 3).

8.2.5. What is survivability?

If you look into the Order quest interface, you will most likely notice the hearts next to the unit icons. They indicate the survival of the fighters. Small units have a survivability margin of 2 units, large units - 3 units. When completing a mission, the unit loses 1 unit. survival. Special units have 1 survivability. When the survivability ends, the unit dies and disappears from the list.

Remember that the threat of Death kills units regardless of their survivability. If you cannot neutralize this threat, all your units will die.

9. Class hall outfit sets

Each class has access to a special set of equipment that can be obtained in the hall. Each set contains 8 items, reminiscent of the transmog set rewarded for completing Pandaria Challenge Mode dungeons.

9.1. How to get class hall equipment?

Equipment is sold by the Quartermaster for a nominal amount, however, certain requirements must be met before purchase, in particular:

  • Helmet(level 810): Complete the quest for the stronghold, which is given at level 110.
  • Shoulders(Level 850): Gain reputation with (Exalted).
  • Bib(level 830): Complete the stronghold campaign.
  • Bracers(level 810): Recruit 6 champions.
  • Gloves(Level 820): Gain reputation with (Honored).
