Since the traditions of the Russian people take their roots from the times when the old style was in effect, it is better to guess using the old style.

The most popular are Christmas fortune telling, which girls and women certainly wanted to know. But most of all they were interested in the issue of marriage and the personality of the betrothed, so the bulk of the fortune-telling is devoted precisely to these issues and related ones.
